Castro's

Loved the location—it was just a 5-minute walk from our hotel. The atmosphere was amazing, the food was great overall, and the coffee was excellent. The tres leches was absolutely delicious and definitely a highlight. The egg sandwich wasn’t our favorite, but it was beautifully presented. Overall, a great spot that we’d happily visit again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Castro’s is one of our must-do breakfast stops every time we visit Honolulu. The food is consistently outstanding, from the Cuban-inspired sandwiches to the fresh fruit and pastries. Everything tastes fresh, homemade, and prepared with care. The coffee is excellent, the service is friendly, and it’s the perfect way to start a day in Waikiki. We’ve tried a lot of breakfast spots over the years, and Castro’s remains one of our favorites. Highly recommended!

Went for the Tres Leche French Toast, w/ side egg and Lilikoi juice. Its a sugar rush but the dragon fruit whip cut the sweetness and balanced out the dish. The French toast was not soaked like regular tres leche, it was a drier French toast. The fruit that came with the meal was ripe and tasty. I loved the edible flowers in the drink and on the dish. Enjoyed it and would recommend.

This place is so great I came back twice on vacation. Let ambiance and setting are great. Very vibrant and friendly staff. The food is prepared fresh and tasty. We had the French toast and it wasn’t overly sweet but so balanced and wonderful. Overall highly recommend.

Wow, seriously, wow! At first, I was thinking about how much it cost, but after trying the food, I realized it's actually totally underpriced for how amazing it is! The taste is just as fantastic as it looks. You should definitely give it a try!
