Castle Waikiki Shore saved our Hawaiian vacation! Literally!! The first accommodations we reserved 6 months in advance didn't communicate with us that they were going through MAJOR renovations during the time of our stay. They shutdown the parking garage, laundry facility, one elevator and the trash chute. The expected guests to pay for full services for half of the facility. The construction dust and debris is everywhere! Castle Waikiki Shore was clean, accessible and the staff was completely professional throughout our stay. We had a great time and we were finally able to relax. And it's next door to the (free) Army museum!

The service here is so bad. Daily cleaning charges with no actual cleaning being done. No hand soap or cleaning liquid for the sink. Cockroaches in kitchen. Hotel staff unlocking our door and walking into our room without knocking twice. Inability to find any records about payments in their system we already made. We had to call the Castle Resorts corporate office to get any information about money spent here. Good location, spacious rooms. That’s about it. Bring your own cleaning supplies! 🧼🫧
There's a hidden fee of $284. The place is great by the beach. Not very crowd too. And you don't need to book a boat to watch a fireworks cuz its right across this room where you can watch better and free. (I wish i knew before)
Most amazing team and security!! The moment I saw this hotel offered a free washer and dryer area with complimentary Tide detergent, I was sold! I always travel with Bounce dryer sheets to keep my clothes fresh, so this was a huge bonus and made longer stays so much easier. The studio room was incredibly clean, comfortable, and honestly perfect for either a short getaway or a longer stay. The bathroom included both regular towels and beach towels, which was super convenient. The closet had plenty of space for clothes, and I loved that I could hang delicate items to dry after doing laundry. The kitchenette truly made the room feel like home. It included a mini fridge, sink, stove, pots, plates, utensils, dish soap, drying rack — basically everything needed to cook meals comfortably during the trip. If I had stayed a full week, I absolutely would have cooked breakfast and lunch in the room more often. Pro tip: stop by Foodland nearby and stock up on groceries! Another huge plus — you do NOT have to pay to use the washer and dryer, and if you need more detergent, the front desk happily provides it. Trash pickup was also available daily, which kept everything feeling clean and organized. The room included AC, a fan, and a balcony porch. At night, I would open the sliding doors just to hear the ocean waves — such a peaceful experience. The hotel is directly on the beach with private access, and the added security made me feel very safe and comfortable traveling alone. There are also tons of places to eat nearby. I especially loved the Halepuna Bakery and several of the convenient local shops within walking distance. Overall, this stay was absolutely worth the price, and I would 100% stay here again!
This is a condominium style hotel that offers full kitchens, washing machine and dryer. I stayed in a room on the Penthouse floor that had a fantastic view of Waikiki and Honolulu. The balcony was probably a good 25 feet long and had enough room for a table, 4 chairs, 2 chase lounges and 2 stools. My room overlooked the Battery Randolph and the Fort DeRussy Park. The condo was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the furniture was very comfortable and did I mention the view was fantastic?
