I had heard a lot of mixed reviews before my stay, so I was a little nervous going in, but overall I had a great experience. The service was excellent, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and accommodating. The ocean view was absolutely amazing and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The valet service was a mixed experience. For a large SUV, the valet price felt pretty overpriced, and while some valet attendants were very friendly, a few were not as welcoming. It also took longer than expected to get our vehicle a couple of times, which caused us to be late for a few plans. We did try to plan ahead, but the wait times were still a bit frustrating. The breakfast buffet was great with a good selection of options. The hotel does not have the full resort feel, but that is also reflected in the price compared to larger resorts. For the location, views, service, and overall comfort, I think it offers great value. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you away. Every stay is different, and our experience was overall very positive. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is 10/10-walking distance to the beach and so many great restaurants and shops. The hotel was quiet which I really enjoyed. We had a room right near the elevator and I was nervous about noise but was never disturbed. The rooms are fine-clean, nothing special but still nice, appropriate for what you pay. I loved having a balcony, we were overlooking the pool. We utilized the spa services as well as the onsite car rental-both were also great. Everyone we came into contact with was really helpful and friendly. This hotel was perfect for a few night stay in Waikiki, we would absolutely return!

Was skeptical when I booked this hotel due to poor reviews. We checked an instantly those thoughts were gone. It was nice for the price. Staff was awesome especially Dexter! Valet all super cool. Rooms were just fine! Clean, enough room and comfortable. Location is great and has some really great little restaurants tucked around the area. For the price it’s well worth it. It’s not a luxury resort but an extremely comfortable one that felt more like Hawaii in a tourist area like Waikiki.

We had a great experience at Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa. Our room had an ocean view, and although there were several tall buildings between the hotel and the ocean, the view was still beautiful and we really enjoyed it. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. During our entire stay, we honestly didn't experience a single issue. One of our favorite parts of the hotel was definitely the pool. It was especially amazing in the morning when there were very few people — sometimes almost nobody else swimming. It was peaceful, relaxing, and a great way to start the day. The location was also convenient. The hotel is only about one long block from the water, so walking to Waikiki Beach was easy for us. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable here. We would definitely recommend Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa to visitors looking for a nice place to stay in Waikiki, and we would happily stay here again!

I booked a stay at this Hilton 7/8 through 7/12. We planned a trip with three large families 40 people total and multiple hotels. Three family members stayed in this Hilton. The first family member saw bugs immediately upon arrival and was moved to a new room. The second family member unpacked spent the day walking around and when they returned to the room preparing for bed, they saw bugs on the carpet, bathroom tile and in the bed this caused them to scramble. Try to find another hotel in the middle of the night. They were able to go to the Ritz Carlton until they were able to find more affordable hotel for the rest of the trip. Several people at Hilton were sent the videos of the bugs and they responded, “ it is termite season”. I did not see bugs in my room. So I was hoping I was able to stay throughout my trip. The next morning, however I woke up with what looked like red insect bites on both lower legs below the knees. I paid for 1 night and checked out of the hotel immediately and I’m grateful that there weren’t any penalties charged for breaking the reservation. However, this post is to serve as a warning for anyone staying in this hotel that is a problem here. After being a landlord for a number of years, what I know is that if there’s an infestation problem on one floor you likely will have it on another floor. Be careful this may end up, ruining your vacation and or causing you a lot more than you were prepared to spend. I gave 1 star because the ocean view was beautiful. But the lanai was very small and the furniture in the room and by the elevator was old and dirty.
