My husband and I love our week stay here for our honeymoon. Trent went above his expected duty when he suggested many activities (and locations for them) that fit our interests. The hotel had many activities included, my favorites were lei making and ukulele lesson, my husband's favorite included the sound healing. We both enjoyed the breakfast and the extremely friendly staff. Starting the day with happy and helpful people makes the paradise a reality. We stopped by the desk for service to book is an excursion to see sea turtles and dolphins. They were knowledgeable with what is available. We truly enjoyed the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Clean, friendly, and close to the sunsets of a beach you thought were only on paradise postcards.

Very convenient since it’s next to the beach with malls and food nearby. However, the inconvenience could be that the room doesn’t have a microwave so you’d have to go to the 2nd floor for it. There’s a pool and I’m glad the water is very clean. Then there’s a game room (played pool) and many fun classes to attend (I went to lei making & hula dancing). The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and all the staffs were very nice.

Hello, Your hotel looked beautiful, and I had hoped to have a positive first experience. Unfortunately, I urgently needed to use the washroom. I explained the situation to Connor at the front desk and told him it was an emergency, but he informed me that I could not use the facilities because I was not a registered guest. I then walked across the street to another hotel, where the front desk staff kindly allowed me to use their washroom without hesitation. I understand that hotels have policies regarding public access, but I was disappointed that no exception could be made given the urgency of the situation. I hope you will consider reviewing how these situations are handled in the future, as a small act of compassion can make a significant difference. Thank you for your time.

If you're staying in Waikiki, this is a pretty good value. Pros: 1. One block from the beach; very convenient to shops, the zoo, and restaurants. 2. Military rate included free parking. 3. Military rate included breakfast. 4. Breakfast is made to order and the choices are everything from fruit and yogurt to a full steak & eggs breakfast. Bottomless coffee. 5. Breakfast room staff get to know the guests and are very helpful. 6. There is a self-service laundry room available for a nominal fee. 7. There's a game room off the lobby with free pool table, foosball, and classic arcade games. Cons: 1. From the seventh floor, you can hear the garbage trucks emptying all the nearby dumpsters between 5:30 and 6am, 7 days a week. 2. Rooms are dated 3. Air conditioning is not consistently cold. 4. The "laundry room" is in the middle of the underground garage, very close to the dumpster. 5. Only one of the three elevators goes to the basement/garage/ laundry room and it's usually occupied by the staff restocking towels throughout the day. Most of the time we took the elevator to the lobby and then took one flight of stairs to the garage. 6. The garage often smells like the dumpster. 7. Towels are available for use at the pool or to take to the beach. The check out counter for those towels is also in the underground garage. 8. Late check out seems to be impossible to get - even for one hour. After staying for over a week, we went down early that morning to request an extra hour to check out. We were told that we'd need to pay for an extra night in order to stay another hour; however, they also said they couldn't accommodate an extra night because "those rooms" (that option, maybe) was already booked to capacity. 9. Check out is easy - you can turn in keys or just walk away from the hotel by 11am. Getting a receipt - hard copy or email - requires a specific, verbal request from the guest, at the front desk.

Stayed in February. Quite a dated hotel, you definitely are getting what you're paying for. Staff at the breakfast restaurant are friendly, and lady at the front desk let us have a 6 pm checkout since we had a red eye that night so that was very very appreciated. But lots of unknown fees that kept popping up and wanted us to pay them to watch our luggage after we checked out?! And parking lot is very tiny so be cautious if wanting to use. But the location is amazing it is right on the beach! Overall, you get what you pay for and if I had to stay here again I would but definitely lots of better options in Waikiki! Mahalo! 🤙
