Matson is fast friendly, and very affordable for shipping to/from Honolulu. The process of booking, getting the car inspected for transport, and sending it on its way is fairly seamless. The phone menu tells you exactly what you need to have ready prior to drop-off. If you want to speak to a rep, then Press 3 when you call, and they will happily answer any questions you may have.

Navigating the port was simple thanks to excellent signage for logistics. My experience shipping to Long Beach has been effortless so far, characterized by a smooth 'in and out' process for inspection and documentation. The high level of customer service is what truly stands out; the team is welcoming and helpful—a significant improvement over the dismissive attitude I've encountered at Pasha/YB. Beyond the logistics, I appreciate Matson’s community-driven approach and charitable contributions. While there are tax benefits to corporate giving, it’s the overall culture and operational integrity of the business that makes me a loyal customer
