I love Queen's and had given birth to all my 3 children there, that even my mom gave birth to me there as well. As you see this hospital means a lot to me and my family. But this time was different when we're back for our fourth baby. While admitted at The Queen’s Medical Center for the birth of our fourth baby, my husband used the hospital valet service on 5/13/2026 at around 11:30 AM as I was going into active labor. Our vehicle remained in valet custody overnight. The following day, Thursday on May 14, 2026, around 11:00 AM, my husband retrieved the vehicle to run errands and discovered that the inside of our van had clearly been rummaged through. Cash and other small personal items were missing. A report was immediately made to hospital security, and a statement was taken. While the amount stolen may be considered minor, the violation of privacy and trust during such a vulnerable and important family moment is extremely upsetting. We understand valuables should never be left in vehicles, but patients and families should still be able to expect professionalism, honesty, and security from a hospital valet service — especially during overnight stays connected to medical care and childbirth. We hope management takes this matter seriously and properly investigates the incident.

I’m a current patient and plan to be released today and today is June 3 and I have a late release so I asked about parking because I was in POB one and I had the pleasure of speaking to Trisha and she was so helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and competent. I hope she is recognize as one of your best employees at Security here and please thank her for her help. I give her five stars and again you have a very valuable employee here.

While the staff are clearly undervalued, underpaid, and overworked relative to patient volume and responsibility, the clinical notes are abysmal. They often do not reflect services rendered (leaving things out and/or confabulating things which did not happen) and consistently demonstrate that the staff lack understanding of and/or respect for patients. Ultimately, it's just a bunch of people who may or may not want to be at work that day (or are not very good at their jobs) dealing with patients who otherwise may not have a choice (and are often themselves abrasive). Capitalism is evil and having health care interwoven with it is a disservice to humanity.

I’m a current patient at Queens and had to do an MRI and had the pleasure of working with Jason. He is a 25 year veteran of the hospital and he’s so knowledgeable, experience and provide provided great customer service. If you have a valuable valuable person in Jason so please recognize him and I give him five stars.

This is the 1 year anniversary of my brother's passing at the hands of Queens emergency medical facility on Oahu so I'm posting this. He was admitted on a Monday with bleeding ulcers, died on Friday. Their so called "patient centered" approach and "team" of specialists failed to take immediate action. His religion was against blood transfusions, but surely today's medical science and technology should have alternative forms of treatment so doctors can do all they can to try and save a patient, without judgement or bias interfering with decision making to act in a time of crisis. His wife was told they would move him to their other nearby medical facility better equipped to treat him and apparently were WAITING on the gastroenterologist to release him. They FAILED my brother. If he was famous, wealthy, a politician he might still be here today as it would have been expeditious instead of week long agony. He was the superintendent/project manager for Hawaiian Dredging overseeing the job at Pearl Harbor, a good man with years of experience, a Veteran devoted to his family. He wasn't sick or debilitated, had a good work ethic, always committed to seeing a job through to completion. His coworkers were shocked and shut down the job site to attend his memorial. Queens I'm sure feels they did nothing wrong (arrogance) but they failed to respond urgently in a life/death crisis, telling his wife what they would do early in the week but never followed through. They dragged their feet, someone dropped the ball. Shame on you people! It still may not have mattered but I question whether or not they did all they could.
